  1. Hello

Your site is great. A nice reprieve from the typical expat site where everybody is whining about apartment prices and where to meet up with dozens of british people to go to a pub.

I am moving to Zurich Jan.1 2008, and after a month of corporate housing need to find a place to live. My boyfriend will join me in February. He works at a consultancy somewhere behind/near the Hauptbahnhof…I will work on Uetliberg. We are 23/25yrs old and very athletic.

Any suggestions on places to live that are not too far from work (I start at 7am) and yet still close enough to trails, lakes, gyms and fun places to go out? All of the nice 2 bedrooms we have seen are up near Duebendorf or far along the lake. Is that going to be too family/residential?

Your suggestions would be very welcome!

    Thanks so much
    Elizabeth

  2. Thanks Elizabeth for enjoying the blog.

I did reply to your comment separately with some thoughts. Hope they are helpful! Zurich is a great city, and though it takes some getting used to, well worth the effort.
